Day 27

Slept somewhere in the mountains almost to Alamogordo, NM last night so we were only about 30 miles from White Sands National Monument where we spent the day.
So, so neat here. Over 250 square miles of white sand dunes. It's the most perfect, softest sand ever! And it goes for what looks like eternity! We spent hours sledding down the dunes in the sun. Michael and d'Ete tried to make a carved out run, that took awhile. And no, it didn't work that great.
We are headed to City of Rocks state park in Faywood, NM for much needed showers and to stay the night. Will enjoy the park tomorrow.
