We left Lake Charles, LA and are doing Texas today.
Instead of lots of turkey, family, and football today, guess we'll have to settle for sun, sand, and surf in the Gulf of Mexico.
This pic of the Texas sign was taken at exit #880. Whew! Texas is huge!
See how foggy it is in the background? This is the same road that the 140 car pile up happened on Thanksgiving Day. We were on that road about 30 minutes before the crashes occured. You can read about the crash here. God was looking out for us!!
